Being a Student Again!

Starting school again! At my Age - I must be nuts!

These were just some of the comments I made to myself prior to making that first call to start on a great journey. If you are like me, you just couldn’t seem to get past the fear of not knowing what to do next and not wanting to be the “mature” student in the group.

Let me ease your fears – Did you know that The Association for Nontraditional Students in Higher Education “reports that students who are over 25 make up 47 percent of new and returning student population.” Further, what was once considered the “non-traditional”

student is now becoming the “traditional” student. This fact is based on recent statistics from the U.S. Department of Education showing that “adult students are the fastest growing educational demographic, and these numbers are steadily increasing.”

While researching for answers, I found a great website http://www.back2college.com. This site provided me with many answers to my questions. Check it out!
