A Better Way

In addition to treatment, people in recovery also attend 12-step meetings usually three times a week. Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held every night around Santa Rosa and the surrounding areas.

This is my daughter Bonnie and I at the Human Race 2007. We walked to support DAAC. DAAC is a not-for-profit treatment program for youth and adults battling addiction problems.

If you or someone that you love has a problem with substance abuse, call 565-7460 and get the help that you need. That is the number to the Orenda Center Detox. It is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Also, please notice the links to the left of this page. They will take you to websites that can help you. Remember, there is a better way, but you just have to want it.

My name is Brandi, and I am currently pursuing my education in the Clinical Medical Assistant field. I have worked in the substance abuse treatment field for approximately 4 years in various treatment settings and have seen many people from different economical backgrounds get clean and stay clean. I know that there is a better way, but you just have to want to find it for yourself!

Narcotics Anonymous puts on several dances a year. This is my son and I dressed up for their Halloween dance 2007.
