Anyone
can be a foster parent!
There
are so many kids in foster care and they really could use our help. Many are
removed from their homes with only the clothes on their backs. They have gone
through a lot, (some more than others) and they just want to feel loved and
safe. Even though times are tough right now and everyone is cutting back, there
are still ways to help those who need it the most.

It’s not difficult to become a foster
parent, as long as you have space in your home and room in your heart. There are a few other things too, so
I’ve included the link for those who want to help out. You are given a
monthly stipend, they’ll have health care insurance and therapy for the
child (should they need it). Need to know more? Click here: How to be a foster parent

Most importantly provide a safe and loving
environment for them. I never thought that I was able to be a foster parent
because I am a single person with no children of my own. Unfortunate
circumstances happened and the opportunity arose, and I didn’t hesitate
to take in my niece. She was only 6 at the time, now she is 9. I’ve
watched her go from having nightmare’s almost every night and having
behavior problems at school to almost no nightmare’s and very rare
behavior problems. She is smart as can be and loves to learn! Just this year, I
adopted her. I even let her choose to keep her last name as it was or change
it. After much deliberation, she
decided to change it.
