My Inspiration

Let me start off by saying that I hated my first two years of high school with a passion. Not because I wasn’t smart and I just didn’t get school, but because I was just lazy and didn’t see the point in being there. When you’re 15 everyone in the world is stupid, and you, backed up by all your life long experiences, are the smartest person you know. Life is so hard when daddy is doing your laundry. After all, you needed those jeans today.

What Inspires You?

Later on down the line, we grow up. Sometimes you do it because you want to and other times it's because we have to. Savannah is my little sister, and I would do anything for her. What I didn’t realize as a younger kid was that “anything” was not just doing something physical for her like buying her new clothes or taking her to get her nails done. Anything is as broad as simply trying for her. Being the best that I can be so that she has a positive person to look up to.

Looking at high school from that angle made school a lot easier for me. I found my inspiration and now have set my dreams high. I always knew that Savannah looked up to me, what I didn’t know is that I kind of needed her to.

My advice to everyone is to find out what inspires you so you can set your dreams high as well.
