Looking at a picture is a unique experience for every viewer. It is always left up to interpretation. Staring at a still picture can often evoke emotion within oneself. Photographers can use lighting, subject matter, color, or effect to convey a theme in the photograph in which each individual person is able to discover what feeling it brings up for them.
