This web site is about my favorite place to go, Mount Shasta, located

in Siskiyou County, California. There is something for everyone to do in this special place.

Whether it is hiking, fishing, biking, boating, skiing, snowboarding, or reading a book, this is the place for you!

We own property in Weed, CA. It’s where we go to get away from it all. We have had fun exploring this beautiful area for 16 years. These are some of the places we like to go:

Golfing is available here with views of Mt. Shasta and Lake Siskiyou is nearby.

Other places we like to visit are Bunny Flats off Everitt Memorial Hwy near the city of Mt. Shasta. This is one of  the locations where you can park your car and hike to Horse Camp, at the base of  the mountain or go for it and hike to the top of Mount Shasta. If you plan on climbing Mt. Shasta, I highly recommend going with a guide, the mountains weather can change in a instant. Another fun place to visit is the city of McCloud.  McCloud Chamber of Commerce.

If you get a chance, visit the historic buildings, museum  and shops downtown .Stop in at Floyds Frosty for a hamburger, everything is great on their menu. Across the street from McCloud city is the Dance Country RV Park. In addition to RV parking they have Park Cabins that can be rented out, but not during the winter months. For skiing and snowboarding fun, nearby is the Mount Shasta Ski Park. Mount Shasta Ski Park
