Classes for the Fall 2010 semester will begin on Monday, August 30, 2010. Please read the Class Schedule for the Fall 2010 semester and Fall 2010 Electives descriptions (for upper year students) carefully and follow the directions. The registration procedure is as follows:

1. Select the appropriate year Student Schedule Request Form for yourself. Fill in the courses you will be taking. You may take a maximum of ten (10) units without prior approval of the Dean. Students are expected to follow the required curriculum as set forth in the 2006/2007 Empire College School of Law Catalog or in the revised curriculum and addendum as applicable based on student's date of admission.

2. Return the completed Schedule Request form to the Law School office no earlier than 9:00 a.m. on your year's registration date listed below and no later than 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010. Unless otherwise indicated, classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The date and time the Schedule Request Form is returned to the Law School Office will determine who has priority.

• 4th Year Students - registration opens at 9 a.m. Monday, July 26 and continues until 3 p.m. Friday, August 20

• 3rd Year Students - registration opens at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 27 and continues until 3 p.m. Friday, August 20

• 2nd Year Students - registration opens at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 28 and continues until 3 p.m. Friday, August 20 - (Standard Introductory 2nd year courses will be scheduled, space guaranteed.)

• Incoming New & 1st Year Students - registration opens at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 29 and continues until 3 p.m. Friday, August 20 - (Standard Introductory courses or 1st year courses will be scheduled, space guaranteed.)

3. Please come into the Law School office, or call Kadee Gilliland at 546-4000 x253, to schedule an appointment to meet with Sarah Leigh to complete your registration. Do not request a financial registration appointment until your Schedule Request form has been turned in. Appointments with Sarah Leigh will be scheduled beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 2 running through 3:00 p.m. on Friday August 20, 2010.

4. Meet with Sarah Leigh on your scheduled date and time. YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE FALL 2010 SEMESTER UNTIL YOU HAVE MET WITH SARAH LEIGH. If you need to reschedule your appointment with Sarah Leigh, please call Tracy Chodora or Kadee Gilliland. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.

5. It is important for you to register in a timely manner so we can accurately determine class enrollments. Additionally, accurate enrollment information is needed to avoid the cancellation of classes. There will be a $40 late fee for registrations completed after 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010.
